Caterpillars is the name we use for our Carers and Toddlers group.
We meet on Tuesday Mornings 9.15-11.15am in our church hall.
The morning begins with an opportunity for children and their carers to meet and play in a safe environment. During our time together we have a 15 minute optional "See and Know" session, which involves going into Church, greeting each other, listening to a short bible story or activity aimed at children under 4, singing Christian toddler songs and a short prayer. If you would rather not take part, then you can stay in the hall and continue to play with your child. After 'See and Know' we have juice and biscuits, plus tea/ coffee and biscuits for the adults, followed by an activity and more time to play. The session ends with a short circle time which involves singing nursery rhymes.
Caterpillars is aimed at the local community and as a follow up group for families who bring their children to St. John’s to be baptised. If you are interested in attending our Caterpillars group, there is no need to book or register a place. Just turn up on the day to play!
